LILBOURN - Ethel Lee Coleman Rand, 88, died Oct. 3, 2008, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Hospital.

Born Oct. 12, 1919, in Black Oak, Ark., to the late George and Mary Francis Coleman, she was a member of the Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Lilbourn, where she served on the Mother's Board and Usher's Board.

She was married to Bennie Rand, who survives of Hayti.

In addition to her husband, survivors include: three sons, Allen Rand of Portageville and Melvin Rand and Ulysses Rand of Cleveland, Ohio; seven daughters and two sons-in-law, Mary Perry of Champaign, Ill., Norma Jean Welch, Susie May Rand and Jamesetta and Jerry Sykes of Cleveland, Bonnie Lee and John Holloway of Poplar Bluff, Lorraine Rand of Howardville and Elaine Rand of Wichita, Kan.; one brother, Johnny Coleman of Memphis; one sister, Genneva Haynes of Memphis, Tenn.; and 34 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Lilbourn Baptist Church, located at the corner of Fourth and Dawson streets, until time for services at 1 p.m. The Rev. Kenneth Holloway will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Simmons Park Cemetery in Catron with Williams Funeral Home of Howardville in charge of arrangements.
