Sikeston Standard Democrat: Local News: Construction under way (10/13/08)

With dry days, workers were busy recently at the Orgill site in the Sikeston Business, Education and Technical Park, north of Sikeston. The drainage ditches and the retention basins are completed and work on the underground site utilities has begun. Also workmen were installing the column footings for the building. All the concrete needed for construction will be produced on site with the first major pour - a 57,000 foot slab on grade - to be made this week according to Pat Cregan, superintendent with Arco Design and Building of Atlanta, which is in charge of the construction project. Cregan said the project is on schedule and estimated the completion date of the warehouse to be May 15.
