DEXTER -- Ollie Marie Sindle, 90, died Oct. 12, 2008, at Missouri Southern Healthcare.
Born March 28, 1918, in Dover, Ark., to the late Charlie Franklin and Clemmie Agnes Boze Jones, she was a housewife and charter member of the Hooe Missionary Baptist Church in Oran.
On Dec. 21, 1940, she married Roy Eugene "Gene" Sindle, who preceded her in death on March 19, 1983.
Also preceding her in death were: one son, Steve Sindle; one daughter, Kathy McCoy; and four brothers, Ernie Jones, Floyd Jones, Charles Jones and Frank Jones.
Survivors include: four sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Nadine Sindle of Bloomfield, Jerry and Diane Sindle and Ronnie and Carolyn Sindle of Sikeston and James and Suzanne Sindle of Oran; one daughter and son-in-law, Rena and Jeff Matthews of Hillsboro; one daughter-in-law, Vanetta Sindle of Sikeston; two sisters, Neva Harris of Eureka, Ill. and Imogene Harris of Benton, Ky.; and 19 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. tonight at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. David Richbourg, pastor of Hooe Missionary Baptist Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the New Morley Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Jay Sindle, Ross Sindle, Kyle Sindle, Donnie Sindle, David Sindle, Blake Sindle and Justin Sindle.
