DENVER, Colo. -- Nicklas Wayne Presson, 25, died Oct. 1, 2008, in Denver.
Born Dec. 29, 1982, in St. Louis, Mo., to Debra Parker McKenzie of Denver and the late Gerald D. Presson, he graduated from Georgetown High School and attended the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design in Denver, with a major in painting. Nick was an artist and musician who loved his work, and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
He was the beloved son and step-son of Debra Parker McKenzie and Keith T. McKenzie of Denver, and grandson of Marjorie R. Presson of East Prairie, Mo. and Anita L. Key of Benton, Mo.
In addition to his father, Nick was preceded in death by: one brother, Neil T. Presson; his grandfather Wayne Presson; and his uncle, Danny Presson.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18 at the United Methodist Church, 106 E. Washington St. in East Prairie.
A private family gathering will follow at Dogwood Cemetery.
