BLOOMFIELD - Over 700 Masons and Eastern Stars from District 50 assembled at the Bloomfield High School gymnasium Saturday night to honor Elvis A. Mooney, newly elected grand master of the Grand Lodge of Missouri.

SIKESTON - Ashley O'Guinn, 4, raced to the finish line in the pumpkin toss during Halloween festivities at Garden Lane Nursery Saturday afternoon. Approximately 80 children ages 2-7 participated in the contest in three different age categories. Eight- and 9-year-olds participated in a pumpkin decorating contest.
