Born Dec. 3, 1913, at Jugtown, daughter of the late Louis Valle Statler and Sarah Jane Statler, she was a member of the Bernie General Baptist Church, had
worked for Hawley's Manufacturing Co. in St. Charles, Ill., for several years and was a homemaker.
On April 24, 1931, at Marble Hill, she married Benjamin Kirkpatrick, who preceded her in death on June 19, 1984.
Survivors include: two sons, Franklin D. Kirkpatrick of Corinth, Miss., and Gail Ben Kirkpatrick of Bernie; one brother, Monroe Statler of Bloomfield; 38 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son,
Edward R. Kirkpatrick: one half brother, Loyd Russell; and two sisters, Ora
Kirkpatrick and Stella Jaco.
Services were conducted at 1 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie with the Rev. Steve Fitzpatrick officiating.
Burial followed in the Bernie Cemetery.
