SIKESTON -- James Alton Laseter, 58, died at 6:55 a.m. Oct. 21, 2008, at his home.
Born Sept. 19, 1950, in Cape Girardeau, to the late James Franklin and Anna Helen Golightly Laseter, he was employed at Tetra Pak for several years and was a member of Miner Baptist Church.
Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law,, Jim and Carla Perry and Travis and Jayme Perry of Delta; one sister, Betty Duncan of Sikeston; and three grandchildren, Brittney Perry, Megan Perry and Triston Perry, all of Delta.
In addition to his parents, one daughter, Lacinda Laseter, also preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, where services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday. The Rev. J.D. McClard, pastor of The Country Church in Sikeston, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
