SIKESTON -- Johnnie Hunt, 90, died Oct. 21, 2008, at the Clearview Nursing Center.

Born June 17, 1918, in the Dogwood community, daughter of the late John Hale and Cynthia Presson, she was a member of the Nazarene belief.

In 1934, she married Miles R. Hunt who preceded her in death in August 1986.

Two sons, John Hunt and Samuel Hunt, and three great-grandchildren also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: one son, David Hunt of Sikeston; two daughters, Charlotte Bryant of Urbana, Ill., and Brenda Tarrants of Bucyrus; and 36 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 1 p.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. Friday at Ponder Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery at Dogwood.
