LEADINGTON -- Monica N. "Niki" Ludwig, 35, died Oct. 21, 2008, at her home in Leadington.

Born Aug. 29, 1973, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Carl and Linda "Johnson" McClain of Sikeston, she was

a fifth grade science teacher at North County and a member of the Old Bethel Baptist Church of Sikeston.

Besides her parents, survivors include: her husband, Michael Ludwig of Leadington; one son, Nicholas Ludwig, of the home; her parents-in-law: Coleta and Arlin Ludwig of Farmington; one sister and brother-in-law, Melanie and Larry Lasater of Sikeston; one brother and sister-in-law, Chalk and Brenda McClain of Sikeston; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Karen and Todd Sanders of Naperville, Ill., and Sherry and Kevin Pinet of Cataula, Ga.

Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Taylor Funeral Service in Farmington. Visitation will continue at 6:30 a.m. Friday until service time at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Mike Collier officiating.

Burial will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in rural Bonne Terre.
