BLOOMFIELD -- Margaret Lillian Thomas, 88, died Oct. 24, 2008, at the Golden Living Center.
Born Oct. 24, 1920, at Kansas City, to the late John Perry and Ester Huffman Vaughn, she had lived in Qulin for many years but had been a Bloomfield resident since 1987. A member of the First Baptist Church in Bloomfield, she also belonged to the Bloomfield Order of the Eastern Star.
On Sept. 5, 1942, she married Paul Eugene Thomas who preceded her in death on June 5, 1987.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Jackie Paul Thomas.
Survivors include: three daughters, Ruth Ann Sifford of Bloomfield, Jane Thomas of O'Fallon and Rosemary Webb of Frostproof, Fla.; and five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were held today at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Johnny Buttry officiating.
Burial followed in the Sparkman Cemetery near Poplar Bluff.
