CHARLESTON -- Annie Lee Craig, 81, died Oct. 23, 2008, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born March 9, 1927, in Cleveland, Ark., to the late Cal and Etta Alexander Canady, she was a member of Opportunity Church of God in Christ at Charleston and had worked at Burkhart Manufacturing in Cairo, Ill.
On March 9, 1945, she married James "Paul" Craig who preceded her in death on June 13, 1993.
Survivors include: six sons and two daughters-in-law, Joe Nathan and Ruthie Craig and James Tyrone and Edna Craig of Charleston, Paul Edward Craig of Oakland, Fredrick Kelly Craig of St. Georgia, Utah, Terry Bruce Craig of St. Joseph and Timothy Leron Craig of Atlanta; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Barbara and Jack Murray and Shirley and Kenneth Smith of Charleston, Kathleen and Bill Smith of Jackson, Miss., and Brenda Burnett of Ypsilanti, Miss.; one sister, Lois Armstrong of Chicago; and 53 grandchildren, 77 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Opportunity Church of God in Christ in Charleston. Steve Betts, pastor, and Robert Campbell will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
