SIKESTON -- Regina Frances Anderson, 88, died Oct. 30, 2008, at Chateau Girardeau in Cape Girardeau.
Born Dec. 31, 1919, in Harvel, Ill., to the late John Theodore and Bertha Frances Hoehn Todt, she was a housewife, a Sikeston Senior High School secretary for 22 years and a secretary for Case International Harvester Implement Co. in Sikeston for two years. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston where she was a member of Legion of Mary, Daughters of Isabella and was a Eucharistic Minister.
On Jan. 25, 1941, in Oran, she married Floyd Anderson and he preceded her in death on June 19, 1981.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Herman Todt and Harold Todt.
Survivors include: a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Shirley Anderson of Sikeston; four brothers, Cletus Todt of Cape Girardeau, Carl Todt of Sikeston, and Sylvester Todt and Robert Todt, both of Oran; two sisters, Geraldine Lewis of Sikeston and Theresa Schlitt of Poplar Bluff; five grandsons and their wives, Brad and Jennifer Anderson of Columbia, Blake and Crystal Anderson of Shawnee Mission, Kan., Jeremy and Jennifer Anderson of Sikeston, Joaquin Anderson of Dallas and Ben Anderson of Sikeston; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where a rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Monday by the Legion of Mary. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with the Rev. Scott Sunnenberg, pastor, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
