PORTAGEVILLE -- William Henon Foster, 75, died Nov. 5, 2008, at the Golden Age Living Center in New Madrid.
Born Sept. 15, 1933, in New Madrid County, to the late Delmar R. and Thelmer Fisher Forrester, he was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War.
On March 27, 1965, at St. Louis, he married Linda Thacker who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: four brothers, Delmar "Buddy" Forrester Jr. of Hayward, Wayne Forrester of West Plains, Michael Forrester of Sikeston and Ronnie Forrester of Portageville; and four sisters, Linda Asabell of Wardell, Judith Dill of St. Louis, Betty Jackson of Gainesville and Patricia Thacker of Portageville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Forrester and David "Wink" Forrester.
Visitation is scheduled at 6 p.m. today at the DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Danny Burton officiating.
Burial with full military rites will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Pallbearers will be: Donald Thacker, Henon Thacker, Brian Forrester, Chris Forrester, Brad Forrester and Dustin Forrester.
