Brenton James killed this six-point buck at 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 1 in Bollinger County. The deer was dressed out at 141 pounds. James killed the deer with his grandfather, Jerry James.

Preston Ulmer, 6, shot his first deer on Nov. 2 in Wayne County. The eight-point buck scored 119 5/8. Ulmer is the son of Steve and Amanda Ulmer of Sikeston.
Josh Stinnett, 10, bagged his first deer on Nov. 1 at 7:09 a.m. The deer was a four-point buck.
Layne Michael Johnson, 9, shot his first deer Nov. 1 with a .30-30 on Granny Pearl's farm in Bloomfield. Layne, a third-generation hunter, has been hunting for three years.
