LADY LAKE, Fla. -- Winnie Pearl Blevins, 85, formerly of Patton, Mo., and Morehouse, Mo., died Nov. 6, 2008, at her daughter's home in Lady Lake.
Born May 28, 1923, at Nashville, Tenn., daughter of the late Sandy Jackson and Jane Jacques Brown, she was a homemaker and a member of the Calvary United Pentecostal Church of Jackson, Mo.
On Sept. 17, 1938, at Jackson, she married James S. Blevins who preceded her in death on March 2, 1999.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include: two sons and a daughter-in-law, Don W. and Rosi Blevins of Holly, Mich., and James V. Blevins of Clarkston, Mich.; five daughters and sons-in-law, Sue and Maynard Holmes and Bonnie and Butch Stroud of The Villages, Darlene and James Steele of Summerfield, Brenda and John Schultz of Port Richie and Barbara Kay and Charlie Wallace of Warren, Mich.; one sister, Jo Esther Williams of Sikeston, Mo.; and 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Liley Funeral Home in Patton. Visitation will continue from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Calvary United Pentecostal Church in Jackson. The Rev. Ronnie Brown will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Reagan's Chapel Cemetery near Patton.
