CORNING, Ark. -- Eric and Sarah Leonard are the parents of their second child, second son, born Oct. 15, 2008, at St. Bernard's Hospital in Jonesboro. Carter Michael Leonard weighed 6 pounds, 5 ounces.

Maternal grandparents are Michael and Beverly Keefer of Sikeston, Mo. Great-grandparents are Harley and Vonda Barnes and Geraldine Keefer of Sikeston and the late Merl Keefer.

Paternal grandparents are Russell "Buddy" and Linda Leonard of Corning. Great-grandparents are Russell Leonard and Mava Tharp of Corning and the late Bonnie Leonard and Oren Tharp.

JACKSON -- Whitney and Lee LaValle are the parents of their second child, first daughter, born at 1:29 a.m. Oct. 15, 2008, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Lynlee Paige LaValle weighed 6 pounds, 14.5 ounces, and was 20 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Mark and Sherrie Wade of New Madrid.

Paternal grandparents are Bobby and Linda LaValle of New Madrid.
