MATTHEWS - Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Martin of Matthews have a new baby son, born Nov. 5.
CHARLESTON - Tomorrow is the effective date of Police Chief Dolph Webb's resignation and Charleston City Manager James Butts said today that until a review is made of the department, the city will not actively seek a replacement.
SIKESTON - Thew new Sikeston Memorial Airport manager, Perry Jolliff, assured the city's Board of Aeronautics members that service will not suffer under his operation. "I want it to be some place people would be glad to come to," Jolliff told board members at the November meeting Tuesday night.

SIKESTON - The Eagles Club national organization presented the Sikeston Chapter with $1,000 from its Jimmy Durante Children's Fund. The money was given to Barbara Smith, director of the Sikeston Regional Children's Services recently. Also present was Herman Grimes, past president of the Eagles Club and trustee, and Ted Beberich, current president.
SIKESTON - The opening of deer season this year brought three times the thrill for the Coppage brothers. The sons of Tim and Kristy Coppage, Tim Jr., Sam and Danny Coppage each bagged a deer during the first two days of the season. All three boys agree that this was a good season
