Boyd Crowe

DEXTER -- Boyd Crowe, 70, formerly of Portageville, died at 9:45 p.m. Nov. 22, 2008, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born May 16, 1938, at Booneville, to the late Troy and Velma Heathcock Crowe, he was a retired police officer of the Portageville Police Department.

Survivors include: one son, Jerry Crowe of Rienzi, Miss.; one daughter, Ronda Prather of Corinth, Miss.; one brother, Terry Crowe of Dexter; two grandchildren; one nephew, William Wilkerson of Lilbourn; and two nieces, Amanda Blackburn of Cape Girardeau and Misty Ecker of St. Louis.

Visitation is scheduled at 6 p.m. today at the DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Dr. Buck Morton will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be the Portageville Police Department.
