Larry Ervin

SCOTT CITY -- Larry Wayne Ervin, 45, formerly of Benton, died Nov. 22, 2008, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born Nov. 1, 1963, in Cape Girardeau, son of Lawrence W. Ervin of Benton and Janet Sue Clark Ervin Bond of Benton, he had worked as a machine operator for Thompson Culvert Company in Sikeston.

On July 15, 1988, at Benton, he married Stacy L. Niswonger.

Survivors include: one son, Dustin Roberts of Scott City; two daughters, Kristin Ervin of Scott City and Brandy Presley of Fort Story, Va.; one brother Terry Ervin of Benton; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City where services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday. David Thompson will officiate.

Burial will follow in Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery.
