Students in Terry Kennedy's and Hannah Vinson's classes at Sikeston Kindergarten Center gathered for the school's annual "Pow-Wow" Monday in the cafeteria. Students learned about the first Thanksgiving, sang songs, danced and ate popcorn. Above: The girls enjoyed beating drums and singing while the boys danced around a teepee. Below: Terry Kennedy helps her student readjust her paper smock and two students give their views about the uses of a teepee.
