CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Lynuel L. Campbell, 79, died Dec. 4, 2008, at the Gardenview Care Center in Chesterfield.
Born June 9, 1929, in Vanduser, son of the late Chester Wesley and Norma Robins Campbell, he was a retired owner and operator of Cedar Wood Resort in Kimberling City where he worked for 25 years. He was a member of Allenville Baptist Church where he also served as deacon.
On June 9, 1948, he married Mildred "Millie" Schearf who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Rich Campbell of Albuquerque, N.M.; one daughter, Connie Westbrook of Chesterfield; one brother, Wesley Campbell of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Enid Schearf of Delta, Betty Sue Lincecum of Surprise, Ariz., and Judy Schearf of Cape Girardeau; and three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
One brother also preceded him in death.
Visitation is scheduled after 4 p.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Phil Thompson will officiate.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery at Cape Girardeau.
