ESSEX -- Charles Norval "Nob" Triplett, 93, died Dec. 10, 2008.
Born June 9, 1915, in Idalia, son of the late Charles and Nellie Williamson Triplett, he was a carpenter and a member of the A.R.K. of Hope Church in Dexter.
On May 24, 1939, in Dexter, he married Betty Baker who preceded him in death on March 10, 1984.
Survivors include: two sons, Roger Triplett of Dexter and Richard Triplett of St. George, Utah; two daughters, Vicci Ross of Essex and Debbie Hardin of Dexter; one brother, Dennis Triplett of Indianapolis; three sisters, Ada Shell of Sandusky, Mich., Nellene Dunn of Springfield and Phyllis Snider of South Pekin, Ill.; and 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Junior Triplett and Joe Triplett; one sister, Mildred Corbin; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday.
Burial will follow in the Triplett Cemetery with the Revs. David Hardin and Mike Triplett officiating.
