Born Jan. 29, 1938, at Puxico, son of the late Earnest and Alma Robinson Morgan, he was a former maintenance man for Hudson Foods, a manager of rental property and of the Baptist belief.
On June 19, 1993, at Dexter, he married Margie Freeman who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: three sons, Densil Morgan Jr. and Arthur Ray Morgan of Dexter and David Eugene Morgan of Bloomfield; three stepsons, John Edward Stephens Jr. of Wagoner, Okla., Tony Lee Stephens of Dexter and Virgil Freeman of Oak Ridge; two brothers, John Morgan of Tucumcari, N.M., and Larry E. Morgan of Punta Gorda, Fla.; three sisters, Emma Hyten of Cottontown, Tenn., Arlene Taylor of Broseley and Barbara Bailey of Fall Creek, Wis.; and six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Earnest Morgan, Wilburn Morgan, Robert Morgan and Arthur Ray Morgan; and two sisters, Velva Bright and Lois Woolard.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. today at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Lester Clayton officiating.
Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
