Ware and Bond both knocked down 16 points to lead the Hornets offense attack while David VanGennip added 12 in the win.
"Matt Ware had an outstanding night for us," first-year Advance coach Josh Dowdy said. "He made our team better tonight and I am happy for him because he deserves everything he gets since he plays so hard and works to improve his game.
"Blake Seabaugh did not show up in the box score but he played an excellent game on the most important aspect of the game....defense," Dowdy added.
Advance built its 10-point advantage in the first half, then held on against a physical Rams team to improve to 5-1 on the season, 2-0 in SCAA play.
"I was proud of the kids for taking care of business on the road against a physical team that never backed down," Dowdy noted. "I hope my kids learned something from Scott City and that is physicality can take you a long way in the game of basketball.
"For us to be successful in the opening round of the (Bloomfield) Christmas Tournament against a good ball club in Bell City, we will have to battle in the paint on every possession.
