CHARLESTON -- Angel Chandler Schwieger, 47, died Dec. 19, 2008, at her home.
Born Oct. 8, 1961, at Laguna Beach, Calif., she was the daughter of the late Jimmie J. and Rosella P. "Rosie" Scheffer Chandler. After moving to Charleston in 1978, she was a 1979 graduate of Charleston High School and a member of the First Baptist Church of Charleston.
On June 6, 1987, she married Murray Schwieger who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Jade Elizabeth Schwieger of Charleston; and one brother, Jimmie J. Chandler Jr. of Charleston.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church in Charleston where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Michael Brewer, pastor, will officiate. A eulogy will be offered by Kerry Stokes.
Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston.
Pallbearers will be: Kerry Stokes, Bill Bass, Mike Renaud, Jeff Long, Courtney Blackburn and Richard Raithel.
McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
