CHAFFEE -- Norma Amanda Miller, 80, died at 10:15 p.m. Dec. 20, 2008, at her home.
Born Sept. 1, 1928, at New Hamburg, to the late Joseph and Rosalie Scheeter Wiedefeld, she was a retired seamstress from Thorngate Ltd. in Chaffee and later worked in the Chaffee Grade School cafeteria. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee and the Daughters of St. Ambrose.
On Oct. 22, 1948, she married Joseph M. Steimle who preceded her in death on Jan. 26, 1977. On Dec. 29, 1984, she married William H. Miller who preceded her in death on Feb. 13, 1986.
One brother and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: two sisters, Viola Allen of Brookport, Ill., and LaVern Ballard of Chaffee; two stepdaughters, Deborah Hunt of Florissant and Karen Marson of Maryland Heights; and several nieces, nephew and stepgrandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled at 4 p.m. with parish prayers at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Amborse Catholic Church with the Rev. Ralph Duffner officiating.
Burial will follow in the St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery in New Hamburg.
Pallbearers will be: Dan Ballar, Jim Ballard, Mike Ballard, Mark Ballard, Travis Ballard, Michael Ballard, Kodi Ballard and Kaleb Ballard.
