WYATT -- Hazel L. Amos, 75, died Dec. 18, 2008, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Ill.
Born Jan. 18, 1933, in Catron, to the late Guy and Ida Cross Amos, she lived most of her life in Missouri and was a member of the Wyatt Police Force.
Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Dollester and Goldus Jackson of Peoria, Ill.; two brothers, Murray Asbury of Sikeston and Charles Amos of Detroit; two sisters, Alma Jean Clinton of Benton Harbor, Mich., and Ruby Dowell of Wyatt; and seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
Visitation is scheduled from noon until time of services at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Bowden Civic Center in Charleston. The Rev. Sylvester Davis will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston
Williams Funeral Home of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
