BENTON -- Jonathan Howard Morrow, 30, died Dec. 29, 2008, at his home.

Born Sept. 19, 1978, at Cape Girardeau, to Richard R. and Connie Sue New Morrow who survive of rural Benton, he had lived in Scott County his entire life and was a 1997 graduate of Kelly High School. Baptized at the New Savannah Baptist Church, he was a member of the Unity Baptist Church and had been employed at the Sheltered Workshop in Sikeston until 2005.

In addition to his parents, survivors include: three brothers and sisters in law, Kevin and Teresa Morrow of Batesville, Ark.; Paul and Tammy Morrow and Tim and Tammy Morrow all of Benton; four nephews and three nieces; and his beloved dog, "Tippy"

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Richard and Mattie Pearl Strickland Morrow; and maternal grandparents, Talmadge and Wanda Watson New.

Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Dale Huff of Benton will officiate.

Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.

Pallbearers will be: Jim New, Gary Hendrix, Roger Glenn Morrow, David LaRose, Scott Lambert, Eric Lambert, Chris Lambert and Arvel Long.
