SIKESTON -- Lucille Erladene Sullivan, 84, died Dec. 31, 2008, at the Sells Rest Home in Matthews.
Born Nov. 24, 1924, at Lamar, Ark., to the late Rufus Ewell and Viola May Russell Pearson, she was of the Baptist belief and a member of the Crossroads Community Church in Sikeston. She worked as a med-tech for Shufitt's Nursing Home for 22 and a half years.
On June 7, 1945, at New Madrid, she married Clyde Sullivan who preceded her in death.
Also preceding her in death was one brother, Ira Pearson, and one son, Clyde Dale Sullivan.
Survivors include: one brother, Namon Pearson of Sikeston; two sisters, Mamie Harris of New Madrid and Mildred Carter of Matthews; and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the Ponder Funeral Home where services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday. Rick Ramsey, pastor of the Crossroads Community Church, will officiate assisted by Bobby Harris, her nephew, a Church of Christ minister.
Burial will follow at the Mounds Park Cemetery near Lilbourn.
