Morley and me

Someone recently referred to dogs and the community of Morley. Isn't there a movie coming out about the topics raised in the comment? I think the title is, "Morley and Me."

Capitalism salvation

The most rapidly growing name given to American newborns since 2000 is Nevaeh. Those who continue to trash President elect Obama will not and should not go to the place identified by spelling the above mentioned name backwards. They should cease and desist. All of the dunderheds who continue to show disrespect for incoming president, Barack Obama, are likely some of the same people who will lose the most if Obama can't accomplish his most daunting task; the salvation of capitalism.

Thanks for the basket

Hi, My name is Jennifer Oakes, I got a Christmas basket on December 23 and do not know where it come from or who it came from. And I would like to tell whoever sent it and/or signed me up for it thank you very much! It was much appreciated. And I wish you a very Merry Christmas and again thank you very, very much.

Hole in the bucket

I hope these people that decided to pop up at our house this Christmas had a good ol' time trying to act better than we are, when you don't have a bucket to pour rainwater out of any more than we do. If anyone believes the act you put on and what y'all say, they are making a big mistake.

Play 'cause you want to

I was reading the article about who would win if Scott Central played Sikeston. The Scott Central coach was not the one who trained the star and taught him basketball. Sikeston deserves a win once in awhile, but so does everybody else. Let's worry about playing it because we want to play it, not because we want to see if we can whoop Michael Porter. By the way, I'm a Sikeston fan. I remember where Mr. Star came from and who taught him to play ball.

Home for Christmas

I just want to thank everybody in the whole town of Morehouse for helping me find my dog. She came home around 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve. I want to thank everyone for helping me look for my dog, the city marshal, the fire department and everyone in the whole town. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
