THANK YOU!

Southeast Missouri Food Bank would like to thank local Boy Scout Troops 41 and 59, Cub Scout Packs 41, 43 and 44, and Sikeston 7th and 8th grade students for conducting food drives to put food on the tables of hungry families this holiday season. As we celebrate the New Year, please keep in mind that the food they collected is staying in our community--hardworking families will have meals of their own, senior citizens living on fixed incomes won't have to choose between buying food and buying medication, and children won't have to wake up hungry. Sikeston can be proud of the generosity and good citizenship demonstrated by these young people who care about their neighbors in need. A big thank you goes to all of the Scout leaders, volunteers, school teachers and administrators, and food donors who supported these fine efforts and made this a happier holiday season for many.
