DEXTER -- Norma E. Sells Wilson, 93, died Jan. 5, 2009, at her home.
Born Aug. 7, 1915, in Gideon, daughter of the late William W. and Ethel Deckard Whelchel, she was a member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Dexter and a homemaker.
On Oct. 23, 1932, in Corning, Ark., she married Wesley S. Sells who preceded her in death on Nov. 2, 1989. On Sept. 9, 1995, in Dexter, she married Cecil H. Wilson who survives of the home.
In addition to her husband, survivors include: four sons, Doyle R. "Bud" Sells of Mobile, Ala., Darrell L. Sells of Dyersburg, Tenn., Ron Sells of Dexter and D. Keith Sells of Washington; two stepsons, Vic Wilson of Corunna, Mich., and Stan Wilson of Centre, Calif.; one stepdaughter, Earline Keller of Flint, Mich.; three brothers, Elmer Whelchel, Homer Whelchel and Billy Whelchel of Poplar Bluff; three sisters, Beulah Lewis of Desloge, Ruby Ennis of Success, Ark., and Ruth Ponds of West Plains; and 14 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Also preceding her in death were one son, Joel Sells; one stepdaughter, Linda Bennett; one brother, Ralph Whelchel; and one sister, Mildred Talley.
Visitation is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. The Revs. Jimmy Kirby and Tom Bass will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
