SIKESTON -- Imogene Patrick Wheeler, 90, formerly of Bell City, died Jan. 5, 2009, at her daughter's home in Sikeston.

Born April 3, 1918, at Indianapolis, to the late Clarence and Anna Jessup Patrick, she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Bell City United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.

On April 3, 1947, at Glenwood, Ind., she married Gene Wheeler, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 26, 2002.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Nancy Wheeler of Sikeston; one daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Joe Karnes of Sikeston; two granddaughters, Suzanne Lambert of Sikeston and Tara Eddy of Portugal; and one great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Eddy of Portugal.

Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Pat Hogan officiating.

Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Bell City.
