Mark Sides

CHAFFEE -- Mark Robert Sides, 18, died at 2:05 p.m. Jan. 7, 2009, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born July 30, 1990, in Sikeston, to Francesca "Franny" Metz and Mark Lawrence Sides of Chaffee, he was a student at Parkview State School in Cape Girardeau and a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee.

In addition to his parents, survivors include: one brother, Joseph Metz of Chaffee; one sister, Lisa Poteete of Chaffee; paternal grandmother, Virginia Sides of Chaffee; and maternal grandfather, Frank Cook of St. Louis.

Visitation is from 4 p.m. until time of service at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
