CAPE GIRARDEAU -- The Cape Central Tigers blew out the East Prairie Eagles 68-29 on Saturday afternoon in the Tiger Shootout.
Cape Central started out with a 25-6 lead in the first quarter and was never challenged again.
Zach Boerboom scored six and pulled down a team-high nine rebounds while Rick Russell snagged eight boards for Cape Central (6-7).
East Prairie was led by Sam Johnson's 11 points.
The East Prairie Eagles trailed Oak Ridge by three points going into the fourth quarter Friday night, but pulled out a 50-48 win.
The Eagles and Blue Jays went back and forth all game, with several lead changes before East Prairie made one final run in the fourth quarter.
East Prairie was led in scoring by Johnson's 17 while Dustin Caldwell and Connor Scott both finished with 12 points.
East Prairie will be back in action Tuesday when they travel to take on Scott Central.
