SIKESTON -- A weekend search warrant served by the Sikeston Department of Public Safety resulted in two arrests.
Around 6:15 p.m. Saturday, Detective Bobby Sullivan served a search warrant at 338 E. Gladys Apt. B, according to a Tuesday news release from DPS. Three male subjects were at the residence when officers arrived, and during the search, officers located 15 grams of crack cocaine, 10 grams of marijuana, and packaging materials for narcotics.
Detectives also confiscated money they believed was acquired from drug sales.
Two subjects were arrested. They are: Ronnie Lenal Walker, 47, of Sikeston; and Willie E. Walker, 41, of Rockford, Ill.
Ronnie Walker is charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and Willie Walker was arrested for an outstanding warrant through the city of Sikeston for contempt of court.
Both are in custody in the Scott County Jail, with Ronnie Walker under a $75,000 cash or surety bond and Willie Walker is being held under a $1,000 cash-only bond.
Ronnie Walker is set to be arraigned on Jan. 20.
