Your View: Where's the news?

Thursday, January 15, 2009

What happens when the U.S. Military wins a war that liberals officially condemned as a war that couldn't be won? Well the news media they control has to remain silent. And we have to search for the truth from some other source than the main stream brainwashing machine controlled by Liberal Democrats who would rather see our troops defeated and America to be subservient to Anti-American interests, than recognize a successful Republican initiated response to Islamic terrorism. A terrorist force that once numbered more than 12,000 with strongholds throughout the west and central regions of Iraq, has over the last two years been reduced to a less than 1,200 fighters whose backs are against the wall in the northern city of Mosul according. This info (surprisingly) was found in the 'London's Sunday Times.' No American television news outlet, except for some slight mention of it on the number one rated cable news channel in America, 'Fox News' Local Basic Charter Cable Channel 54, and even then their positive news message is always muddied up by some left wing lying mouth piece sent there by democrats to debunk and talk over any positive comments by a republican or a conservative. The reason you haven't seen this prominently and respectively presented on any other T.V. news channel or read about it or seen it proudly presented as front page news is simple; honest independent objective journalism is 'dead' in this country. The destruction of al-Qaida in Iraq is one of the most unlikely and unforeseen events in the long history of American warfare. And it is especially remarkable in light of the last 7 years of 24/7 America blaming slanderous propaganda flooding all news media outlets in our nation. If we were still a nation of integrity adhering to the God based moral underpinnings our nation was founded on we'd all bow our heads and thank God for President Bush's and David Patraeus' surge strategy. Remember the press' hysterical condemning coverage of David Patraeus, and the Bush administration? And, how the left wing democrats lead by Hillary Rodhem Clinton, Harry Reid, and Nancy Pelosi and Barrack Hussien Obama, scourged, and slandered David Patraeus when they called him before their tribunal to 'Grand Stand' their self righteous posturing rants for George Sorros, and his cabal of left wing bloggers? How they called David Patraeus a liar, and his since proven superb war winning strategy, a fraud, and a Bush/Cheney sham to prolong Bush's unwinnable war? George Bush has had to stand alone, firm, and press forward against seemingly insurmountable opposition not only from traitorous Democratic leaders in Washington, but linguine spine republican politicians in his own party who called for humiliating defeat, and an exponentially dangerous withdrawal from a war 'they said' could not be won. We owe a tremendous warm and sincere thank you to those serving in our military in Iraq, not only fought bravely and courageously against a maniacally death worshiping enemy for their service. And for, just as, or maybe more importantly, engaging local Iraqi tribal leaders and convincing them America was their friend and Al-Queda in Iraq is their true enemy. Al-Qaida's loss of the hearts and minds of ordinary Iraqis began in Anbar Province, which had been written off as a basket case, and spread out from there. Now, in Operation Lion's Roar the Iraqi army and the U.S. 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment is destroying the fraction of terrorists who are left. More than 1,000 AQI operatives have already been apprehended. Meanwhile, the State Department reports that Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki's government has achieved 'satisfactory' progress on 15 of the 18 political benchmarks 'a big change for the better from a year ago.' Remember how a year ago that's all the democrat big

Where are the headlines and the front-page stories about all this good news? CBS, NBC CNN are mute as the throat slashed victims of Al-Queda in Iraq. The war in Iraq has been turned around 180 degrees both militarily and politically because the president Bush, and president Muliki stuck to their guns during a barriage of defaming, false, slanderous, traitorous condemnation by the democrat controlled news media, or is it the news media controlled democrats.
