EAST PRAIRIE -- Delbert and LaRue Wilson of East Prairie have announced the engagement of their daughter, Julie Margaret Wilson, to Troy David Johns, son of Alice Johns of Kewanee and the late Ralph Johns.

A graduate of East Prairie High School and Southeast Missouri State University, the future bride is a supervising tax auditor with the Missouri Department of Revenue, Field Compliance Bureau in Cape Girardeau.

The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of New Madrid County Central High School and Southeast Missouri State University. He is employed as an account manager at East Side Lumberyard Supply Co. in Herrin, Ill.

An April 25, 2009, wedding is planned at La Croix United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau.
