Hayti man sentenced for drug trafficking

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- A Hayti man was sentenced in U.S. Federal Court on Wednesday on charges of drug trafficking.

Tyrese L. Stephens, 26, was sentenced to 100 months on one felony count of distributing five grams or more of cocaine base and one felony count of possessing with intent to distribute five grams or more of cocaine base, according to a news release from United States Attorney Catherine L. Hanaway.
