DEXTER -- In a rematch that featured two highly state-ranked teams, a huge second half from the Dexter Lady Bearcats was once again what propelled them past the Portageville Lady Bulldogs in round two.
In their first bout in the Lady Royals Holiday Classic championship game, the Lady Bearcats held a slim 45-42 lead until they exploded with a 23-3 run to close the book on Portageville earlier in the season.
The Lady Bearcats methodically broke down defenses and ran the floor to score 57 second half points as they rolled by Portageville 85-55.
