Glenn Lewis
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Glenn N. Lewis, 63, formerly of East Prairie, Mo., died at 3:45 a.m. Jan. 28, 2009 in the V.A. Medical Center in Atlanta.
Born Nov. 4, 1945 in Sikeston, Mo., to the late Harry L. and Bertha Fennema Lewis, he was a retired plant manager and a handyman as well as owner of the Ye'Old Pawn Shoppe in Lawrenceville. A veteran of the Vietnam War, he was affiliated with the Protestant Church.
Survivors include, two sons and one daughter-in-law, Glenn Nicholas and Tina Carol Lewis Jr. of Eureka, Mo., and Kevin Mark Lewis of Tulsa, Okla.; three sisters, Lanora FayTawney and Donna Jean McGee of Hopkinsville, Ky., and Betty Ann Stanley of Salem, Ind.; and four grandchildren, Trevor Grant Lewis, Jason Beck Lewis, Kaitlyn Elizabeth Lewis and Madison Paige Lewis.
Two brothers, Ray M. Lewis and Edward A. Lewis, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie where funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Larry Smith will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery.
