Scott County 911 is up and running

BENTON -- Scott County's 911 is up and running -- and always has been, according to Scott County Commissioner Dennis Ziegenhorn.

"I've had some people ask about 911 -- 911 was up the whole time," Ziegenhorn said. "Our 911 never was off -- it was on track the whole time. That's a good feeling because everything else was shut down,"

He said there were times that the system needed to be rebooted, but power was maintained by the communication center's generators.
