Nominations accepted

The public can nominate individuals or businesses for the following awards:

Business of the year

Small business of the year (typically less than 20 employees)

SACC volunteer of the year

Community volunteer of the year

Lifetime achievement award (for those 60 or older)

Citizen of the year

Civic Group of the year

Awards for Educator of the Year, Law Enforcement Officer of the Year and the Sikeston Jaycees Distinguished Service Award are nominated by those clubs or organizations.

Forms are available at the Sikeston Area Chamber of Commerce offices, 1 Industrial Drive, or by calling 471-2498. All nominations are due Feb. 27
