Lady Hawks fly in three overtimes

Debra Hall reaches 1,700 points in career

CHARLESTON -- The Kelly Lady Hawks and the Charleston Lady Bluejays locked up Wednesday evening for a triple-overtime thriller and when fans finally filed out of the gym, one fan was overheard saying, 'That's the second best game I've seen, behind the Sikeston and Scott Central game last week.'

The three-OT barn-burner Wednesday evening in Charleston showed tendencies of the big game that took place last Wednesday at the Show Me Center between the Braves and Bulldogs.

This week's contest between the two girls' clubs, left fans in attendance feeling as if they'd watched one of the best girls' games the area had seen in a while. A 52-50 victory that eventually saw the Kelly squad on top at the end of the third overtime, wasn't an easy win for the visiting Lady Hawks.
