SHS freshman begins state competition today

Blake Angle finished third in district to qualify for state

SIKESTON -- Sikeston freshmen Blake Angle will travel to Columbia today to represent the Bulldogs wrestling team at the Class 3 State Championship meet.

Angle compiled a 37-7 record in his first year while wrestling in the competitive 103-pound weight class. The freshman finished third last weekend in the Class 3 District Tournament to qualify.
