Kennett shocks NMCC on last second shot

KENNETT -- Kennett's Jarvis Finley hit a shot with two seconds remaining to give the Indians the win over visiting New Madrid County Central on Tuesday night.

Kennett trailed 11-10 after one quarter but took a 27-20 lead into halftime. The Eagles fought back in the third quarter but Kennett was able to squeak out the win in the end.

Finley scored 18 to lead Kennett while NMCC was led by Kony Ealy's 15. Josh Minner chipped in 12 for the Eagles who fell to 14-8.

NMCC won the junior varsity game 53-36. William Bledsoe had 15 points for the Eagles while Lamonte Nelson added 11.
