Civil War re-enactors will mark the 147th anniversary of the Battle of Sand Ridge

SIKESTON -- A farm just south of Sikeston will turn back the clock almost 150 years this weekend, as Civil War re-enactors come together for the Battle of Sand Ridge.

"You almost get the feeling they really are experiencing what our ancestors went through during the Civil War," said Rick Justice, leader of the group which is spearheading the event.
