CHARLESTON -- The Charleston Bluejays will once again have a shot at the New Madrid County Central Eagles in the Class 3, District 1 title game as they breezed through their Thursday semifinal match with the Scott City Rams. The Bluejays put up nearly 20 or over 20 points in all four quarters as they won by 34, 83-49.
CHARLESTON -- The New Madrid County Central Eagles came into Thursday evening's Class 3, District 1 semifinal game with one thing on their mind -- revenge. Just weeks ago the Kennett Indians defeated the Eagles by a score of 48-46 on a Jarvis Finley field goal with two seconds on the clock. Thursday evening the NMCC squad didn't let the game get that close as they soundly defeated the Indians 60-45.
