Tax abatement confuses some in Scott County

BENTON -- There appears to be some confusion over the tax abatement promised when Scott County voters approved a half-cent sales tax on Feb. 17.

"I'm getting loads of calls," said Mark Hensley, county collector. "Anywhere from three to five a day."
