COLUMBIA -- It wasn't how it was scripted but the Dexter Lady Bearcats' dream season came to an end on Friday afternoon.

After heading into Thursday's Class 4 semifinal game undefeated and the top-ranked team in Class 4, the Lady Bearcats saw their state title hopes dashed by Webb City 58-47. On Friday, Dexter left Columbia with the fourth place trophy after falling to Miller Career Academy 54-50.
